Our farmers have had a terrible time of it here in Britain. Too little sun has meant that crops have been left waterlogged and spoiled. I think August saw only two days of sunshine. September is looking just as dicey. So it was that both farmer and photographer were glad to see some favourable weather. I just haven't been out enough of late.
I used countless layers for this image including a "colour" adjustment layer that has dictated the tone of this shot; a very rich, warm, red colour. Probably a little over the top but it does fascinate me quite what can be done with Photoshop.
