Vanishing Point

Vanishing Point

This was taken under a railway bridge. A very secluded area (10 minutes from the nearest road) which when you're looking through little more than a 1cm square viewfinder can make you pretty jumpy at any sound. This bridge must have had a minimum of 10 arches supporting the track and theses were in the side of each (both sides) arch. Quite amazing to view. Did I capture this, I'm not best pleased? I found it difficult to decide quite where I should focus to give the observer the sense of depth that was quite amazing.

As for yesterdays image, yes, I too am not certain about seective toning. Still, I felt it suited this image. It can be a little overdone so I will probably not do this very often.
