David and I were in a pub and I was conscious that people can look a little uncomfortable when faced with the bulk of an SLR or any camera for that matter. Conversation was well underway so I decided it would be good to get the camera out. I'm not sure if as a photographer, I successfully put David at his ease or whether he was just comfortable in front of a camera. I think I got quite a natural shot though. This image may look highly cropped but all I did was cut off a little to the left side which had all of his hand in. I felt the face needed to be the focus.
