Road to Nowhere

Road to Nowhere

This was produced using the kit 18-55mm lens. I dislike this lens so much. It always seems too restricting. The depth of field isn't quite shallow enough, the aperture blades prevent getting any nice bokeh. That landscape you wish to capture it fails miserably at. Um, it's just naff.

With this in mind, I have splashed out. I am now the proud owner of the wide angle EF-S 10-22mm lens. No more compromise. Well, I say this. Hope I'm not proved wrong.

Targets in mind are London and perhaps a few windmills again. I love those quiet sentinels of our landscape.

Oh and in case you were wondering, yes, I did leave the tripod slap bang in the middle of the road.
