A couple of weeks ago I went for a mooch through a field of rapeseed on a bit of a recce. It was wet having recently rained and the track I was walking down had lots of snails (there was one group, must have been a family, 2 adults and about 8 youngsters) and the shells looked so lovely I decided to use them on the lightbox.
A silly thing to say but when you are shooting macro, these guys certainly do shift and after a while of being picked up, moved, picked up, moved, they were indifferent to me and not shy. So, getting this was quite difficult. Fun mind you.
