This week commences a study of scenes I drive through (or near) on my way to work each day. These overlook me on my way to work. I have been driving past them each day (along with many other scenes; I tihnk the area has great topography) and thinking, must shoot those. Well, that has been for rather a long while I must confess.
Right, now onto other busines. Two questions:
First off; I have the kit 18-55mm lens and I feel I should get rid of it (by means of hammer if I didn't want the money). What lens would you suggest I replace it with, and why?
Second question; www.tobiasreynolds.com has been up and running now for a week. Could you have a look around it (if you haven't already, shame on you!) and tell me what you think of the layout, categories etc and give me some feedback. I must confess the difficulty I am experiencing at present, is trying to encorporate images that cross categories. For instance; I have 'rural landscapes' and 'black and white'. Problem is that some rural scenes may be shot in black and white. Should they be in both categories or does this just becomem frustrating, as in, "Oh, look, rurual landscapes, not looked at those before, oh, I've seen these already". Feedback and your thoughts would be 'mucho grande'!
