Fire and Brimstone

Fire and Brimstone

Right well, I feel I need to comment on yesterdays image. Two things that displeased me about it was 1 the contrast wasn't that great which seemed to blur the depth and 2 the bokeh wasn't as pronounced as I was aiming for but believe me, I had the f stop on numerous different settings and that was the best I could get. It annoys me also that they are maples and yet are still green. Problem is that when they start to turn red the leaves seem to disintegrate which spoils the composition. This all said I am glad that you liked the image, as long as it appeals to you then really, that's all that matters.

The image above is one of my favourites. Dramatic tones and that deep warmth of autumn. Most pleasing. Try the white background with this at it seems to bring out the colour that bit more.
