I have no affinity for dogs. I am a cat person through and through but like a good journalist I want to turn my skill to documenting an event without bias. Hence, we have a canine shot. His name is Archie. He has all the attributes I dislike about dogs. He pines after his owner (this starts 2 minutes after he has been left!?!) which involves much barking. He is terrortorial and thus moody, to downright aggressive and I dare say were his owner to kick him, he'd come straight back for more.
Cats have none of these traits, they don't like you unless they want something which is fine because sometimes it's nice to have a break from one another. They are there if you want them, they walk themselves (if at all) and they have a strength of character that always seems to say, "I don't need you". You have to respect that.
