The first skyscraper built in New York. I really could not believe the contrast between new and old in New York although as city architecture goes it isn't that old in comparison to ours. Those buildings a few centuries old just contrasted so extremely with the gloss of the glazed skyscrapers, it was fascinating. I feel the scale and quite intricate design made this building stand out. It looks like it is defying physics due to how slim it is. I was surprised at how ornate a skyscraper could be. The remnants of those around the site of Ground Zero reflected this in their forlorn beauty.
